Are you a superstitious person? You know, the kind of person who will not open an umbrella inside a house, will not walk under an open ladder and must whirl around three times when walking over a crack in the cement?
Here’s a list of the more common craps superstitions compiled by some of the greatest craps players. Incidentally, they believe in a lot of this absurdness too!
one. If the stickman changes, during a throw, a seven will follow.
2. If a cocktail hostess walks up to the table the table, a seven will follow.
three. If the dice being tossed hits a player’s money, a seven is possible.
4. If the pair of dice being tossed impacts the glass, a seven will appear.
5. If there is a lot of chatter between the dealers, frequent sevens.
six. If the pair of dice are tossed off the table, seven will be the following number.
7. If a new pair of dice are requested, seven is going to be next.
eight. If anybody yells out the number "7", a 7 is certain to be next.
All of this might sound like a bunch of nothing to you but sometimes you will be involved in an active game where the ivories are passing a bit too frequently. If you keep an eye out, you will discover that several of the beliefs are, in fact, occurring.
You’ll observe that the stickman is substituted a little too often, that rather than of 1 cocktail stewardess, the table now has 2 waitresses bringing drinks and many other strange happenings that eventually mean a 7 is bound to be thrown by the player.
Remember, you can constantly bring your bets down and wait until the next hurler. You can also turn your bets off, but if you do, don’t turn them back on, because if you do… a 7 will be next!
