You see a craps table with several open spots. Which seat should you occupy? That is a matter of individual preference. Is there a gorgeous guy or girl betting by themselves at one end of the craps table? Which individuals are using cigarettes? Which appear tired? Who seem intoxicated or awful? Select a seat where you will feel the most at ease.
I like betting on the end, directly next to the dealer. On the end, I do not need to be concerned about gamblers on both sides of me. I do not prefer playing near to the stickman as I constantly seem to be in the way of him trying to get the dice or maneuvering the stick.
After betting for a bit, you will get a sense for your favorite seat. You don’t have a pick when it is busy. If you end up in a lousy spot (like, an awful guy is near you), simply shift to a different free spot. If the table is filled, wait until a person walks away and take their seat. Be aware of a player "coloring up," which is an indication that she is departing, and tell the dealer that you want to move into her spot. The dealer will then reserve that spot and not permit a different player to quickly take the spot. The dealer will amiably request the new competitor to move to the location that you leave. Clearly, when you change positions, don’t leave your your chips.
Folks next to you can affect your feeling and complete betting experience. They can make it exciting or horrifying. You may get trapped next to a chimney like fat guy with horrid body odor, or it might be a bevy of drunk chicks spilling out of their halter tops. So, choose your spot wisely.
